    True Temper Aces This Week’s PGA and European Tour Events

    True Temper Announces College Fit Tour with GCAA

    NORMAN, Okla. – True Temper Sports, the number one golf shaft manufacturer in the world, announced today the launch of its fall College Fit Tour with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The tour will be kicked off with events at the 76th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship and The Gifford Collegiate Championship.

    Through the College Fit Tour, True Temper will bring the professional tour fitting experience to the college players. During the fall season, the company’s engineers, sales staff and tour reps will be on-hand at selected college tournaments using launch-monitor fittings to educate players about shaft technology and ultimately lower their scoring averages.

    Dynamic Gold Takes First Place on PGA and Nationwide Tours

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Dynamic Gold by True Temper Sports topped the leaderboards at the BMW Championship on the PGA Tour and the Utah Championship on the Nationwide Tour this past weekend.

    Dynamic Gold Sweeps the Memorial Day Weekend on the Pro Tours

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - True Temper Sports' all-new DG Spinner shafts helped capture THE PLAYERS Championship this weekend. The first-time PGA TOUR winner was bogey-free during the final 26 holes playing the new DG Spinner in his sand and lob wedges, to compliment the Rifle shafts in his irons.

    True Temper Brands Dominate with Global Victories

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports dominated the pro tours with victories around the globe this weekend: Project X won The Quail Hollow Championship on the PGA Tour; Grafalloy, Project X and Rifle shafts combined for the win at the Spanish Open; and Grafalloy and Dynamic Gold grabbed victories on the Nationwide and Japanese PGA Tours.

    On the PGA Tour, the 20-year-old Quail Hollow champion with Project X in his irons was able to shoot the lowest round in the field both on Saturday and Sunday and win the event by a staggering four strokes.     Project X Graphite Blasts Competition at Bay Hill

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two weeks after delivering victories at the World Golf Championships - CA Championship and the Puerto Rico Open, the new Project X graphite shaft took the first- and second-place victories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

    The champion at Bay Hill played the new Project X graphite wood shaft in his driver and 3-wood and the new Project X graphite hybrid shaft in his hybrid. He earned $1.08 million with the win and became the first player since 2001 to win twice on the Florida Swing and emerged as seventh in the official world golf ranking.
