GCA MEMBERSHIP

The Golf Clubmakers Association was founded in 1980 by Golfsmith International. With more than 6,000 members, the GCA is both the oldest and largest association devoted exclusively to help promote the craft of clubmaking.

Some of the benefits your GCA Membership will include:

Worldwide Clubmaker of the Year Award
Established in 1996, the Top Ten Worldwide Clubmaker Awards honor dedication to advancing the craft and profession of custom club fitting, assembly and repair. The panel then identifies standout applicants from each U.S. state, Canadian province and country outside North America from which the GCA receives an application. From this pool, they select the Top Ten Worldwide Clubmaker Award winners, and from those ten, they choose the Clubmaker of the Year Award winner.

The GCA will recognize these honorees via direct correspondence from the GCA judging panel on December 15, 2009. Top Ten Worldwide Clubmaker Award winners receive a $500 prize package and The Clubmaker of the Year Award winner gets a $1,000 prize package.

An expert GCA panel is ready to begin evaluating applications for the annual Top Ten Worldwide Clubmaker Awards and the Clubmaker of the Year Award. Submit your application now! The deadline is November 1, 2009. Download the Clubmaker of the Year Application (87kb).
