What is the status of my Golfsmith online credit card application?
If you applied for credit using the online credit application and didn't receive an immediate decision, please call Customer Service at 1-866-396-8254 to request the status of your Golfsmith credit card application. You should receive either your credit card or a letter of explanation within 7 to business days after Synchrony Bank processes the application.

When will I get my Golfsmith Credit Card in the mail?
You should receive your credit card within 7-10 business days after the application is approved by Synchrony Bank.

Can I use my Golfsmith Credit Card as soon as I receive it in the mail?
You can begin to make purchases on your account once you have received your credit card in the mail. Once you receive your Golfsmith credit card, you may visit the Golfsmith location nearest to you and make purchases, based on your available credit, with your Golfsmith credit card. You may also make purchases using your Golfsmith credit card by calling into our catalog center or by visiting our website.

PLEASE NOTE: the billing and shipping address must match in order to use your Golfsmith Credit Card.

If I've forgotten my Golfsmith Credit Card, can I still charge purchases to my account at a store?

What is the interest rate on this card?
There is no interest if the account is always paid in full within 25 days of the billing date. However, if you choose to make monthly payments, the current (Variable) Annual Percentage Rate ( APR) of 29.99, as outlined in the terms and conditions of your credit card account agreement as of 10/01/10, will be applied to your account.

Is there an annual fee on the card?
No. That's one of the great advantages of being a Golfsmith cardholder: no annual fee on the credit card. For new accounts:  Purchase APR is 29.99%.  Minimum interest charge is $2.00.

Am I able to make payments at the store?
While making payments at the store is not an option, you do currently have two convenient options for submitting payments to Synchrony Bank:

The payment address is also indicated on your billing statement. Be sure to include your account number on your check and allow 5 to 7 business days for the payment to be received.

Whom should I contact if I have questions about my account?
Questions regarding your billing statement should be directed to Customer Service at Synchrony Bank. This number is 1-866-396-8254 and can also be found on your monthly billing statement.

How do I update my mailing address and/or phone number?
You can change your address or telephone number by calling Customer Service at1-866-396-8254.

What do I do if my card has been stolen?
Contact Customer Service at 1-866-396-8254. Your account will be closed and you will receive a new credit card and account number. All existing balances on the closed account will be transferred over to the new account.

How do I request a Credit Limit Increase?
You may request a credit limit increase by contacting Customer Service at 1-866-396-8254.

Can I add another user to my already existing credit card?
Yes. The primary applicant should call customer service to add any additional authorized users to the account.

How long will my account be active?
Your account will remain active a minimum of 36 months from the date of last activity unless the terms and conditions of your account have changed or if your financial situation has changed. Synchrony Bank reserves the right to close the account after this time.
