RETURN POLICY

Our Policy

Golfsmith will exchange or refund merchandise purchased through our retail stores, catalog, or website, within 30 days of product receipt, accompanied by the original sales receipt* and in new, unused condition.

Refunds will be issued as follows:

Cash Cash, if less than $200  (Refunds for cash purchases over $200 will be issued as a check from our Headquarters in Austin, Texas)
Credit Card Store credit or credit issued to same credit card
Check Cash if less than $200 and the original purchase was more than 14 days from date of return. Otherwise, a check  is issued from headquarters in Austin, Texas

* Original Sales Receipt can be any Golfsmith store register receipt, shipping invoice or Internet screen printout qualifies as an “original sales receipt.”  An exchange receipt does not qualify as an original sales receipt.  ** Store Credit is not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced or honored for payment if lost or stolen. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash (except where required by law) and will not be replaced or honored for payment if lost or stolen.

All orders may be returned at any Golfsmith Store or to our Headquarters in Austin, Texas. All return shipping charges must be prepaid (C.O.D.’s will not be accepted). All claims for shortages must be made within 10 days of product receipt. All Store returns are subject to verification by a valid and current driver’s license, state identification or other approved form of identification from a governmental entity.



Exceptions and Exclusions

Golfsmith reserves the right to limit or refuse the return of certain merchandise, such as special or custom orders, custom clubs, assembled or altered components, personalized items and media (e.g. books, video, software, etc.). Free goods, received as part of a promotional offers or a sale are not eligible for exchange or return. Used merchandise may also be refused. Warranty Claims/Defective Returns

Warranty claims are subject to the discretion of the original product manufacturer. Warranty information is included with many manufacturer’s products, or may be found on their respective website. Any Defective product may be returned anytime while under the manufacturer’s warranty period. Please contact Golfsmith prior to returning any merchandise for warranty or defective consideration.

Golfsmith's clubheads have a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects. Golfsmith's Clubmaker branded tools come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty (1-year for electronics).



Shortages

Many orders ship in multiple cartons and may arrive days apart, so check your packing slip before calling us to report a shortage. All claims for shortages must be made with the carrier within 10 days of the invoice date.



How to Return Merchandise

Products may be returned to any Golfsmith Golf Center superstore. To return an item to our warehouse we encourage you to re-use your original shipping carton. Please follow the instructions on the back of your packing slip, note the reason for your return, and enclose the slip in the shipping carton. If you do not have your packing slip, please include a separate piece of paper containing your printed name and address, the order number and your Golfsmith Customer Number, and the reason for the return or exchange. Wrap the package securely and send it to the following address:
