Lamkin Crossline Oversize +1/8 Round Grip

Lamkin Crossline grips have a soft, more sensitive rubber compound that lets you grip the club lighter, reducing forearm stress for a more effective swing. Its distinctive pattern moves to the right, stabilizing the hands at impact for less torque and increased control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jamie Not a Grip For Everyone I recently needed to re-grip my 7i and I decided on the Jumbo Lamkin for a specific reason. Years ago I sustained a hand injury that effected my ability to fully close my hand. This made it hard for me to hold the narrower golf grips properly. This grip made up the difference and now I can hold the club like everyone else and the club no longer has a tendency to twist on when I hit the ball. This will soon be the grip on all my clubs. Now to be perfectly honest this grip my not be for everyone. (I have read that using a grip larger than you need can cause your hands to react slowly to your club, I don't know how accurate this information is, but) Some of us have larger hands than most, or problems with arthritis, or even hand injuries. Some may just feel uncomfortable trying to wrap their hands around a narrow grip. If you feel uncomfortable with the traditional grip size, or you just want to experiment with the possibility of improving your swing. It's worth the $ to walk into a GolfSmith and allow them to put one of these jumbo grips on one of your clubs and give it a swing. You may be surprised by the results. January 24, 2006
