I love these shafts
Date:September 14, 2009
I have a Dunlop 9 wood with that I had reshafted to TT Lite XL. I get an average of 190 yards (and sometimes hit it 200).
I also have the following Snake Eyes clubs I constructed with these shafts: Q4A 39 deg Approach Hybrid, Q3A 38 deg approach hybrid, Q3I 7-SW irons, 600W lob wedge.
They have fantastic feel but there are some caveats (hence why I rated them "4" vs "5"). The good caveat is that the Lite XL yields 2 more swingweight points vs the Dynamic Gold because the metal is thinner on the butt end. The bad caveat is one has to be careful using a tubing cutter on the butt end ( the initial cut is OK but one should not go aggressively; when making a minor adjustment, use the tubing cutter to score a line but finish the cut with a hacksaw or the butt end will crack due to the thinness of the wall).

Fitted them to p2 iron heads tested them on course and on zelocity launch monitor they are 10 yards shorter than my ping i3 blades with project X 6.5 shafts on course they seem even shorter as in 2 clubs more OK for wedges but not impressed am going to swap 5 iron ping for P2 shaft and see if its the heads will report later
Pros: Quality, Good Value
Cons: Poor Design, ballons the ball

Lite is Right!
Date:August 28, 2007
These lite shafts will probably add 8-10 yards of distance with every iron! Cheap in price, but solid in quality and performance.
