Dynamic Gold SuperLite 0.355 Steel Shaft (S300)

I have some likes and dislikes with these shafts.
LIKES: 1.) These shafts are AWESOME in hybrids and you'll like them even more if you prefer your hybrids to play and feel more like irons. 2.) The butt size of them stays constant for long enough that the whole length of the grip is around 0.600 shaft, so you don't have to add extra wraps of tape down lower to maintain the grip size. 3.) They're lightweight and durable. DISLIKES: 1.) As another reviewer stated the quality control on these is a little lower than standard Dynamic Golds; I ordered a set of these DG SL shafts for some irons and found every shaft (10 total) to wobble when rolled on a flat surface (i.e. they were all bent) now granted, the bends were so slight that you really couldn't see them unless "sighting" down the shaft, and honestly, it's not like anyone but a tour pro could tell while playing them, but still, it's that kind of stuff that makes me continue to play standard Dynamic Golds.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability

Laugh at the Wind!

The True Temper Gold SL shafts (S300), combined with the Golfsmith P2 iron heads make for a winning combination. With their high kick-point and stiff tip section, this shaft produces wind penetrating shots easily. More importantly, I’m now hitting my nine-iron or pitching wedge from where I use to use an eight iron! If wind is standard issue at your home course, these shafts could be your ticket to lower scores.

As someone who is a Senior and has been playing golf for a long time (55years) , I highly recommend these shafts to anyone my age who has tried graphite and wants to return to a steel shaft . The swing speeds of Seniors like myself (around 93 mph) can really be helped with these shafts. I have used the S300 shafts for years, started losing distance a few years ago. I tried graphite but found that style shaft to unpredictable. I installed these shafts in my Taylor Made cb irons and the result was better than I expected. I actually hit it higher and longer with these shafts now than I did with the S300 or my graphite shafts of the last few years. Make the switch to these shafts if u find ur advancing age is causing u to lose distance.
