FST 90 Ultra Light Steel Shaft:

An amazing 25% lighter than conventional steel shafts, FST's state-of-the-art ultralight steel produces more head speed with less effort, while retaining the solid feel and accuracy of traditional-weight steel shafts. The lighter weight also allows for a club with a lower center of gravity, which produces a higher shot pattern. The 90 Ultra Light Steel Shaft is available in a unique combination A/R flex for practical fitting options.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lost yardage I replaced my7 year old TT lite XL shafts and in my first 3 rounds I am finding that I lost 5-10 yards on each club. I put the old TT lite shafts in some heads I had lying around and went to the driving range. I was hitting those to my usual yardages. I think I will have to get some new True Temper shafts when I get some disposable income. Until then i'll have to use the TT lIte clubs. May 2, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Reply to "poor quality control" These are parallel tips. If you try to put them in a "taper tip" club head, there will be issues! As far as using them, I have not done so. January 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alternative to Graphite An excellent shaft which fills the gap between standard weight steel and graphite, especially in lighter flexes where there are fewer options. I had been playing 75G graphite shafts but would occasionally hit a big pull when I got too aggressive. The extra weight has calmed my swing down, and may also help eliminate a tendency to cast, or flip at impact. September 11, 2009
Rated 2 out of 5 by poor quality control The tip diameter on 10 shafts very quite a bit. More than half would not go into the hasel even after sanding off the chrome. Also total veriry more than 8 grams. May 2, 2009
