Travel Protection for Golf Clubs

When properly packed, it is nearly impossible to break a golf club in a Club Glove. With nearly every touring professional carrying their clubs in a Club Glove travel bag 25 to 35 weeks a year, a total of only one or two incidents of club breakage occur when using the Club Glove Stiff Arm. This usually only happens when the bag is dropped directly on the club heads from a height of six feet or more.

The Stiff Arm is an adjustable crutch that is designed to prevent breakage when mishandling happens. It adds vertical strength to those places a golf bag is most vulnerable.

It broke the first time I used it. The company claims that it's disposalble meaning if it breaks the product did it's job and you'll need to buy another one. At $26.99 each spend the extra money and buy a hard case to protect your clubs. Most airlines could careless if your clubs get damaged. They broke my Ping Driver and said it's my fault due to the soft case travel bag.

It works, but broke the first time I used it.
Date:November 9, 2011
On paper, this is a great item. Slip it inside your golf travel bag and it protects your clubs. The only problem is that the cap is held on by one hex screw that is only contained within plastic cap. It came off the first time I used it. It can be fixed easily by drilling a hole in the cap itself and getting an identical machine screw one inch long (versus the half inch one that came with it) and inserting it from the top, through the cap and into the rod. Once I did that, it's fine.
The other problem is that lack of customization in the sizing. Ideally you want it a quarter inch or so above your driver, but it doesn't want to adjust to those fine increments.
So, overall three stars. It could be much better with a more well-thought-out way to connect the cap to the rod.
Cons: Difficult to Use, Quality, Poor Design

This product saved my clubs from the ruff handling of the airline industry. The way it folds and es of use was great when you get to the hotel to store away your travel gear.

It does what it says it does, and it protected my clubs on my recent trip. Must have for people who frequently travel with golf clubs.
