The powerful, spring-loaded clamp secures shafts without damaging their finish, while the solvent catch pan allows for easy solvent recovery and re-use. The grip alignment tool rotates out of the way while sliding on the grip and then rotates back into position for final alignment. Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for graphite shafts I thought it was unusual that I had not seen such a sophisticated station. I regrouped my clubs thinking each grip was aligned perfectly with the face inly to find many were not. After examining the device more closely I found that the locking mechanism to hold the club in place was flexing the shaft and alignment was inaccurate. I think it would work with very rigid shafts. I am dismantling the device so there is a simple vice that grips the shaft and positioning the club head so it is perpendicular to the floor. February 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Question! Can this regripping station be mounted on ultimate bending stand. Does anyone know or have tried? Thanks! August 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great! I've been regripping for awhile using the rubber vise insert. That works ok, but this station is so much better. And so much cleaner, (less messy). Well worth the money even though I only regrip 4 sets annually. May 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good station Good station for regripping. An easy tape removal trick is to use a torch or a heat gun to remove tape. Heat gun works the best. Use torch for only a few quick swipes up and down the shaft and it peels right off. It would be nice if the grip line locked into place but i used a small quick clamp to lock into place. Didnt really use the hose just let it drip into a bucket. At first i used a small hose clamp cause the hose did fall off but ended up getting in the way so just let it drip into bucket. If you are using that much solvent where u need to re-use it you are using wayyy too much. Just squirt some into the grip, swish it around and dump the excess on the grip tape through the hole at the end of the grip. BING!! Done I drew a few more lines on the end of the alignment line part just cause im crazy about the alignment i guess. For the money it worked great and better than using a vise and drawing lines on a wall with a level. I do it for all my friends. Good Luck. June 21, 2013
