Pretty Good

Took about 5 minutes to assemble; fit securely in vice. I had gripped a couple dozen individual clubs over the years with just the rubber shaft holder you stick in a vice, and using alignment lines drawn on the garage wall. This is a significant upgrade from that. It's very easy to stick the club in, check the alignment, and snap the clamp down. It took me about 1:45 to do 10 clubs, including two with nasty grip tape issues. The easy clubs take 5 minutes apiece or less. This also comes with the grip tape tool which definitely helps, although it isn't a magic wand.
I got this unit on sale for around $110, which seems like a reasonable price. Have done Driver to Wedge with no issues. Adjusts easily.

Disappointed

Waste of money! Most putters will not sit in the unit square. Poorly engineered and overpriced.

Fantastic Work Station
Date:June 30, 2010
This is a great tool for any shop. Easy to work with, Great guides to asist with alignment. The description says it can be mounted or put in a vise, I expected it to have both options. It only has the bracket for the vise. It extends for longer clubs so I had to modify on my own to mount directly to bench. Includeing an extra bracket for bench mount would be great for the price. Either way its a great shop tool & I would recomend it to anyone.

so far so good
Date:June 10, 2010
the one thing i wish someone had said in their previous reviews is that this gripping station sits in a vise grip. most experienced home grippers have a vise but if you want to keep this up as a permanent fixture you need to dedicate a vise to it.
the set up was easy and the instructions were good. I like the drip pan for catching solution and found if you drill a hole in the top of your grip solvent can the tube will not come out during gripping.
the alignment tools are nice and make you consider how did you get grips on before you had them. so far I like it.
