Golfsmith Clubweight Scale

The swingweight scale is a virtual icon for custom clubmaking, and none other on the market offers better form or function than this Clubweight Scale. This precision instrument features a 14" fulcrum for swingweighting golf clubs from AO to F5, plus it measures static weight up to 650 grams. The non-restricted beam is designed to provide a zero friction pivot for maximum accuracy. The grip cap compensator and the grip channel on the top of the beam allow for pre-assembled swingweighting, while the precision bubble levels ensure precise readings.

The component tray permits weighting of individual small components, and the perpendicular club tray allows for static club weights of shaft weights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Johnny C Great product, a must have tool for the avid club maker. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gained a lot of info on my specs all ready I had my 09 Burners reshafted. The 85 gram shafts were too light. I wanted S300's since that is what I used most of my life but was talked into X-100's soft stepped. I have had days where I would shoot 73-75 and the next day shoot 90. Very inconsistent. Bought the Golfsmith scale and found out that my shafts weighed in between 430 grams and 470 with a D6 swingweight. D6 made the head feel heavier and was difficult to swing consistent. Taped a quarter and a nickel to the butt with duct tape to make the club a D2 and shots went straight with consistent contact immediately. Going to order weights and back weight my clubs. Comments have been made about leveling and the pointer lineing up. Mine was the same way. After staring at the machine for about 10 minutes I realized that the counter weight end had 2 sections. Lossened the post and moved the counterweight pin to the top section and everything lines up perfectly. Made myself a spine finder this weekend. Friends are amazed to watch the shaft roll over in it. Working on a shaft puller now. I figured I can do anything from paint cars, lay tile, hang sheet rock etc., to be sure I can tinker with a golf club. January 7, 2013
