Golfsmith Clubweight Scale

The swingweight scale is a virtual icon for custom clubmaking, and none other on the market offers better form or function than this Clubweight Scale. This precision instrument features a 14" fulcrum for swingweighting golf clubs from AO to F5, plus it measures static weight up to 650 grams. The non-restricted beam is designed to provide a zero friction pivot for maximum accuracy. The grip cap compensator and the grip channel on the top of the beam allow for pre-assembled swingweighting, while the precision bubble levels ensure precise readings.

The component tray permits weighting of individual small components, and the perpendicular club tray allows for static club weights of shaft weights.

Good build quality. The total weight works great, but the swingweight scale was off by one, i.e., reads D4 when the actual is D3. Also, it takes a while for the balance scale to settle down to get an accurate reading. May have been worth it to get the digital scale, even though it is $$$.

Clubweight Scale

I have done six sets of clubs so far, data matches some of those previous swing weights. The leveling scales are a great help. I shouldn't have waited so long to get this gem and recommend it to anyone interested in improving their golf club performance or those who custom build clubs.
