Whether in a garage or in a clubmaker shop, this station serves up efficiency and speed in order to maximize profits and productivity. An important function of the unit is its height adjustability. The gripping jig can easily be raised or lowered to meet the height requirements of the clubmaker, helping alleviate physical problems that can occur from awkward body positions associated with gripping. Other great features include a geared tape dispenser for double-sided tape, a handy tray for grip storage and a side rack to place clubs. Rated 4 out of 5 by BigDaddyBallGoFar Ultimate Gripping Station Okay, here's the deal; I waited for over two months for this gripping station to arrive. I was sent an email stating that this item was being shipped from out of the country and would be delayed in getting to me. I was going to call and gripe about it (two months later) when I received another email stating that it had been shipped. I told myself that I'd call and gripe anyway, regardless of what the gripping station was like just for the principal of the matter. A couple of days later, there was a huge heavy box on my front porch. I felt sorry for the delivery guy when I discovered how heavy it actually was. I opened the box, followed the instructions and about 20 minutes later had a fully functioning gripping station. This thing is "beefy". Heavy duty parts and well put together pieces. I love it! Needless to say... I did not call and gripe to Golfsmith on this one. It was well worth the wait. FYI: I only paid $138 for this item when it was on clearance, with free shipping and with an on-line discount coupon. I'm not sure if I'd feel the same way if I'd have paid full price for it due to how long it took to get to me. However, it is definitely worth every penny that I did pay for it. September 8, 2010

Rated 1 out of 5 by xtraspin save your $$$.$$ This machine looks like it should be a winner with all the features it has but it really lacks in the performance dept. I have one of these in my shop and you have to re-learn how to re-grip clubs. Here's what I mean by re-learning how to re-grip clubs, the machine moves around if not bolted down to the floor (I have been doing grips for 15years, and the out of the 1st 10 grips I installed with this machine, I had 3 get stuck 1/2 way on b/c the machine moved on me as I was installing the grip). Also, the bolts holding the machine together will not stay tight and consistently need to be tightened down. Instead of this machine, buy the Grip Solvent Recycling Pan, and a shaft clamp..use the cash you saved for other needed tools. September 16, 2007
