True Temper Sensicore Inserts 8-Pack:

Sensicore is a vibration dampening shaft insert developed by True Temper for their golf shafts. A frequency tuned polymer core, located inside the shaft, eliminates up to 70% of unwanted vibration at impact. Sensicore radically improves feel and provides golfers the ability to practice and play longer because it decreases the harmful effects of "shock" on the hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Tour professionals have taken Sensicore to the winner's circle over 150 times!

Sensicore was initially installed by True Temper in a select number of their shafts, but today the inserts are available in packages of eight so any clubmaker can install them in their own shafts. Since it weighs just slightly over four grams, and because its location inside the shaft is near the fulcrum of a swingweight scale, Sensicore will have very little effect on the club’s swingweight, total weight or MOI.

Installation: First make sure the club is cut to length on the butt end of the shaft. Slide the Sensicore insert into the shaft as far as possible by hand. Use a ½”-wide dowel to push Sensicore to its final resting place. (True Temper installs Sensicore 7.5 inches clear of the butt end of the shaft. To duplicate, simply mark the dowel at 7.5 inches and push the insert into the shaft until the mark is at the butt end of the shaft.)

Sensicore will fit into any shaft, relying on a friction fit with its spiral foam grabbing the inside of the shaft. No epoxy or glue is necessary.
