Clubmaker Shaft Extractor

Industrial strength performance at an economical price. Durable and easy to use, the Clubmaker Shaft Extractor is designed for smaller shops but has no problem handling high-volume work. In its third version, this constantly improving tool now features a 5/8" round guide for the collar gate housing to slide on, rather than the extractor's frame — in addition to proven features like the pressure-gauging T-handle, shaft clamp and permanently fixed collar gate.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by An excellent tool, good value Great for small shops. You can extract a complete set of irons in half an hour with this - no need to spend $300 for the heavy duty version. January 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Value In fact this tool works easier than the instructions imply. Used a heat gun on the hosel for 2-3 minutes, then installed in tool, cranked up tension until the spring is just about out of view and continued heat application until the shaft started to move slowly out. At that point the heat goes off and one can ratchet the head smoothly off the shaft. Tried with both Golfsmith and Brampton 24 hr epoxies and got exactly similar results. Do not know why the restriction about keeping a gloved hand is in the instructions because: 1. the heads ( tried both driver and iron ) are not too hot to touch, and, 2. If you take it easy with the heat application with the head in the tool, one can see the head begin to slowly move. At that point, you are done. Makes a tricky job easy and will not take long to pay for itself. July 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well I got this for personal use. I am just getting into club making and I enjoy trying different things with my clubs and this helps me make changes myself. I have never used a different one so I don't know how this model compares but it seems to work well. March 24, 2011
