Good quality Mat
Date:December 28, 2009
This mat is pretty good. It has held up well with no signs of wear after about 1000 balls (both driver and irons). The only downside is that if you set the ball forward in your stance off the tee like a typical driver shot, you can't take a very wide stance before your back foot will be off the mat.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability
Cons: Poor Design

Happy with product
Date:September 4, 2009
I have had this mat for a couple of weeks now and have hit probably 300 balls off of it. It appears to be a quality product. It shows no signs of wear so far. I think this was a good buy. Time will tell.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Durability

Good Mat
Date:March 5, 2009
This mat is the right size for using my driver. The 4' x 4' Hank Haney mat would have been a little tight. This mat is also thicker than the 4' x 4' Hank Haney mat. I use it with a net and hit both "real" golf balls and "practice" balls off both the rubber tee and right off the mat. Give on the shots right off the mat feel good ... it's not real grass, but it will improve my iron shots. I use this in my backyard laying on top of my artifical grass so as to save its wear and tear; and the mat doesn't move or slide due to its size and weight. With the thickness of the mat I don't see any reason why this couldn't be used right off a concrete surface and you wouldn't notice a difference. Downsides are it is more expensive than other mats and is larger to store due to the thickness. Upside is the size, feel, stability, and cushioning.
Pros: Easy to Use, right size for driver, Feel, stability, cushioning
Cons: moderate value, storeage size
