Rated 1 out of 5 by callsigndeacon Not Impressed the ball retriever has good reach but I don't like the tip mechanism. My previous ball retriever had a rigid tube cup that had the stiffness to dig a ball out of muck in the marsh or pond bottom. This spring loop can easily be turned to drop a ball while pulling it back thru tall grass or bush limbs. The inter-loop can easily come off the small plastic tab making the retriever non-functional. I play a course with lots of creeks and ponds so rolling a ball into one is routine in a round. Almost always one can see the ball, but not get into the creek bed to retrieve it. I am quite disappointed in this purchase and would gladly trade it in for credit. I expect to have to purchase another ball retriever very soon. July 13, 2009
