Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Great !!!! I am a female golfer who loves to play golf I have purchased many golf clubs in past men's and women's clubs my experience is the club's were not compatible to my swing so I decided to build my own. I carefully followed the tip cutting instructions for this shaft A/L men's standard length and ladies flex, my shots are more accurate and about 5-10 yards longer thank you so much August 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I was looking for After 30+ years of playing with steel shafted irons (R flex) I am experimenting with using graphite shafts in my irons for less vibration and a little softer flex, senior (A flex) shafts are still too soft for me. I purchased a Pro Custom shaft to experiment in my 5 iron. I tipped trimmed it a little soft (trimming for a 4 iron) and inserting it in my 5 iron. It is an excellent combination for me with straight ball flight. The carry and distance is similar to my steel shafts(it could be 3-5 yds longer) but there is no vibration and it feels like it requires less effort. If the softer tip trimming had been too soft I would have tipped it to standard R flex, if I needed it a bit softer I would have inserted into my 6 irons. Some club fitters recommend going two "trims softer" (tip for a 3 iron and using it in a 5 iron, etc. etc.) when transitioning from R flex to A flex. I found one step softer works for me. I have built many clubs in the past 15-20 years and it is my experience that nothing beats trial and error to find the correct combination of shaft, flex and club loft. January 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shafts I am getting better accuracy with these shafts and getting a little more distance. As far as Im concerned I'll take accuracy over distance any day. These are great shafts for the money! July 16, 2014
