Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Feel As the years increase my swing speed decreases, I am changing the shafts in my driver, 3w and 5w (from halfway between a regular and stiff flex) to regular flex. I was a hesitant to try a low cost shaft, in the past low price shafts seem to "give in" at the contact point. I trimmed the tip as per Golfsmith's info and inserted this shaft into my 3w, it is solid through the swing and contact, fits my swing speed (mid 80s) perfectly August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This works! I used this shaft in an extra long application and it works. Without trimming, I paired this shaft with a 175 gram head and it gave me 213cpm which at a 50" length would be an R based on some web frequency charts. I may have gotten a slightly lighter flex with a heavier head but the swingweight was already at a G0 so I didn't even go there. I tried it and it gave a few more yards. September 3, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Way stiffer than advertised I just put the L/A flex in a driver for my son with 2.0" trimmed from the tip. Golfsmith's trimming guide called for 2.75" for A flex and I was trying to get it somewhere between L and A flex. With the total length playing at 43" this thing is stiff enough for me to play (100 MPH swing speed). There are no "stiffness" markings on the club, so either Golfsmith shipped me the stiff version instead of the L/A I ordered, or it plays at least 2 flexes stiffer than advertised. April 2, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reshafted Ladies 3 wood My wifes game has improved so I decided to reshaft her 3 metal/wood to keep pace. The OEM shaft was a little heavy and did not seem to have the right bend point to help her ball flight. The new shaft has made a big difference. She noticed the lighter weight and said the club was easier to swing. And her ball flight is higher and several yards longer. She really likes the change. July 22, 2009
