Awesome! Should have bought this years ago
Date:December 4, 2011
After years of waiting and putting off getting a range finder due to the high cost I was finally able to buy the v2 with slope on cyber Monday. The first time I took it out onto the course I was skeptical due to hearing and reading good and bad reviews on the functionality of range finders in general. I must say that the pin seeker technology made it pretty easy to pick up the pin even with shaky hands and it eliminated the readings from surrounding objects in the background. The slope technology seemed to be right on and was very helpful on blind shots. I would recommend this product out of the box but can't speak to the durability yet. Hopefully the 2 year manufacturers warranty lives up to its promise. The biggest advantage to having this on the course was not only having accurate distances but also having confidence in your shot selection helps the mental game. Happy golfing!

Excellent and Accurate

The Tour V2 is an easy to use and very accurate range finder. I'm glad I upgraded to the V2 with Slope since courses played in the summer in Michigan have elevation changes compared to courses at Hilton Head Island. The Tour V2 locks on to an object and gives you an instant read, easier to use than a GPS and I think more accurate.

Not worth the money
Date:December 17, 2010
The Pinseeker with slope looks good, but it is not very dependable. My old Skycaddie is much more accurate. Unless you have an extremely steady hand, you cannot get an accurate reading the first time. It slows down the pace of play, because it takes to long to get a consistent reading. It is definitely not worth the $399 price tag.

Great product! It is much better yardage finder I have ever owned. Sometimes I find anywhere from 5-10 yards difference with GPS systems. However, it does take a bit more time to locate the pin than GPS, but much more accurate.
