The Babolat Pure Drive GT is a versatile racquet for intermediate to advanced players looking for both power and playability. The frame is constructed with GT technology which uses a hybrid material that combines braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments. The concentration of tungsten fibers in strategic points in the core of the frame provide an additional 10% energy recovery for added power when you strike. Featured just above the grip is Babolat's Cortex System, which uses modular technology to selectively filter vibration frequencies. Disruptive and unwanted higher frequencies are filtered out while feel-enhancing lower frequencies are preserved to give the player a comfortable and responsive stroke.

Babolat's patented Woofer technology allows the strings and the frame to interact at the moment of impact, providing up to 25% more contact time between the ball and the strings, which translates into more control and a comfortable feel.
