  Medium Swingman
Babolat Pure Drive Roddick GT

The Babolat Pure Drive Roddick GT is the official Andy Roddick tennis racquet. It’s a high performance frame with a good balance between power and control for with a full swing looking for a solid feel. The frame is constructed with GT technology which uses a hybrid material that combines braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments. The concentration of tungsten fibers in strategic points in the core of the frame provide an additional 10% energy recovery for added power when you strike.

Featured just above the grip is Babolat’s Cortex System, which uses modular technology to selectively filter vibration frequencies. Disruptive and unwanted higher frequencies are filtered out while feel-enhancing lower frequencies are preserved to give the player a comfortable and responsive stroke.

Babolat’s patented Woofer technology allows the strings and the frame to interact at the moment of impact, providing up to 25% more contact time between the ball and the strings, which translates into more control and a comfortable feel.

The Pure Drive Roddick GT is 27" long with a 100" sq. head and 9 points head-light balance. It's an outstanding racquet for skilled players looking for more versatility in their frame.

Great stick
Date:January 28, 2010
I have been playing with this racket for a month now and love the response. I have been playing tennis for a year amongst 3.0 & 3.5 players and have been looking for a racket that is good on serve & up at the net.
The overall weight and stiffness improve it's rock solid feel and power, yet it is quite head light, which helps you maneuver at the net.
I have also had great access to spin helping me keep aggressive forehands in play and produce a big slice with my backhand.
This is a must demo as I don;t know what is not to like about this stick.
