Bought both the clamp on and the cupholder model. In both cases the holder portion broke because of the plastic components. The gears in the retention arms used to "squeeze" the iPhone stripped out after several uses. No probelm I have the spare with the cart one (they use the same quick detach head) nope happened again.
Would wait until they put more robust metal or other engineered plastic gears in.

with hindsight i should have purchased a flexible neck with the straight neck it is difficult to read from the cup holder

The Golf Cart CPS Cup Holder Mount is excellent. I recently purchased a SkyCaddie GPS SGX. It fit perfectly in the golf cart cup holder and keeps the SGX steady. Movable head allows to rotate it for easy viewing. Recommend it highly.

The GPS cup holder is a very useful product. It is quick and easy to install and remove from the cart. The only drawback is the product can be easliy over tightened, resulting in the top of the unit breaking away from the base. Other that one issue, I would recommend the product to other.
