very comfortable
Date:May 16, 2011
the most comfortable shoes i have ver worn, one issue. they have horrible traction. I have a pretty hard swing and with the shoes i always loose my footing, so if u have an easy swing buy them but if you have a very hard swing i would not recommend them.

They Are OK, But I'm Still Looking
Date:April 24, 2011
I bought these shoes in October 2010 from GS and they were delivered in November. I waited until posting this review. Initially, I liked them very much and even wore them as casual shoes. I have now played 5 or 6 rounds in them and find them just to be average in comfort. I walk and carry my bag so I am really looking for a shoe that feels as good as regular tennis shoes (which I sometimes wear if the course is not wet). I also have several pair of Adidas 360's which are good too. I don't think the Ecco's are a good value at $140. My feet usually begin to hurt after 14 or 15 holes. These may be better for a quick 9 or going to the range. I do think the traction is excellent, however.

Lateral support
Date:February 15, 2011
Very comfortable, breath well, traction is great. Only issue I have is the lack of lateral support, compared to traditional golf shoes which focus on this. With the addition of orthotics (I have a high arch) and extra snug tightening of the laces, they work out just fine. I am a high torque, high swing speed player though. Note: Noticeably lower to the ground, takes some getting used to. Would not advise switching often from these to traditional type.
Pros: Quality, Durability

The Best
Date:January 10, 2011
These golf shoes did exactly what I wanted from them, and then some. I used them on a recent golfing trip where I walked four 7,000-yard courses in two days, along with usual use around the house. They were perfect for this. It was extremely useful to have a shoe that I can use on the course and then use throughout the day. They have lasted admirably and the look is great as well. They were even mistaken for dress shoes (until I showed them the bottoms). A word of caution, though. The sizing could be compared to Nike normal shoes, which run about 3/4 size large. I would recommend using about 1/2 size safety when buying, because you'll be using them for a while.
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Durability
