The Babolat RPM Blast is taking over the Pro tour. This new Babolat string will increase spin, give you more ball speed out of the frame and offer a unique feel during ball impact. The octagonal section gives players better grip for more spin. Cross-linked silicone coating provides better sliding between mains and crosses for fast string repositioning. The high density co-polyester material allows for great combination of power and unique ball feel.

I have this string on my Babolat APD-GT on the M @57Lbs. The Wilson K-Gut 16 on the X @59Lbs. I was told that whichever string is on the M, will be more influencial on the racquet's playability. That's why I'm writing this as a RPM Blast review. The RPM feels soft & comfortable. It's not as powerful as the Pro Hurricane Tour.(similar 8 sided string).
This strings does create lots of spins!! It's good at serving, and slices. One can take a full strokes on both wings, and the ball just drops in. The RPM Blast is mindblowing on rough hardcourts because the spin makes the ball kick up higher than on a smooth surface. I imagine is even better on green, or red clay.
