Rated 4 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Comfortable Spikeless Many golfers believe that running shoes are sufficient for the driving range, i however find that the variation in stability and sole thickness can affect my feel while practicing while wearing golf shoes on a range mat causes excessive torque on my front knee. As such, I bought these shoes about 6 months ago primarily for use at the driving range. They are very comfortable and are perfect range shoes. Under one circumstance i was forced to wear these for a round of golf and while they were a pleasure to walk in, and good enough for most lies, I did find myself slipping around and lacking the grip of my normal golf shoes. Overall i think that they are a good pair of shoes. I have had no problem cleaning them. They fit a bit wide but i tried them on in the store so i got the correct size. Don't expect spectacular grip on the course particularly on wet/long grass or uneven sand. Overall a good comfortable pair of shoes. October 7, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not buy these shoes! I bought a pair of these shoes at Golfsmith in San Antonio within the past three months. They are very comfortable but, after a muddy golf outing I attempted to clean them with a mild fabric cleaner and the blue shoelaces that were in the shoes out of the box bled on the rest of the shoe so that my formerly off-white shoes are now an uneven sickly pale blue. They are still good for golf but not for street wear. I contacted Ecco and was told I could return them for warranty evaluation but that the process takes 3-4 weeks. I do not want to stop playing golf for that long. Golfsmith did nothing wrong but Ecco's warranty process is not practical. I did notice under "comments" for this shoe at the Ecco website that 14 people had complained that the shoe "stains easily." September 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable shoes It's not just hype. These are very comfortable shoes and seem well constructed. I was concerned at first about not having spikes but have played in wet conditions and have not experienced slipping even on side hill lies. These soles offer pretty good traction. Because they are only offered in even sizes, I ordered both size 10 and size 11 to be sure I got the right fit. I usually wear a size 10.5 but the 10 is a perfect fit. I plan to return the size 11 and get a second pair of these in size 10 in another color. I have plantar fascitis in both feet and both of my knees are bad but these shoes make it so I don't have pain after playing. I did put my own inserts in the shoes because they do not have much arch support. I think they are a little pricey but I'm getting a second pair. January 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by ECCO Men's Golf Street Premier Shoes This shoe is well built and comfortable for a round of golf or a trip to the mall. The sizing is the only drawback so be careful when you order. I wear a size 9 in all brands of golf shoes but the ECCO 9 is large, probably closer to a 10 than a 9. The size range noted on their box is based on European size scale so my Euro size has always been 42 but the ECCO box for my size 9 says it's a 43. Other than that, if the shoe fits, you'll love them. December 2, 2010
