The Perfect GPS . . while it lasts
Date:May 12, 2011
I bought the igolf neo 3 years ago, and it worked very well . . . until one of the rubber buttons fell out after about 18 months. I contacted the company & they offered to sell me a refurbished unit, which I declined.
Thinking this was just a fluke, I junked the old unit and bought the Bushnell neo (same unit) which acquired igolf. Worked great for several months until one of the buttons fell out. Apparently, this is a recurring problem with this unit. Whichever button you use the most (in my case, the up arrow) will fall out after several months of use. Bushnell should fix this problem. Others have reported the same thing on the golfwrx website, so it ain't just me. C'mon Bushnell - stand by your product and offer a FREE replacement!!! Fool me once, shame on you. . . fool me twice, shame on me.

Save your money
Date:May 9, 2011
I bought the Neo+ and loved the fact that it had all my local courses near me. However, the problem started as soon as I recieved it by fed-Ex. The instuctions say to charge it at least 6 hours before first use, so I charged it for 7 just to make sure it was fully charged. The problem was there was nothing that was indicating it was charging or finished charging. The next day I went to my golf course and to my not so suprise I turned it on and gave it some time to zero in on the course, which it says in the instructions can take upto 5min. However, nothing happened. The entire time no indication of power or any sign of life. The GPS arrived DOA, dead on arrival and never worked. This was very disapointing and yes I returned it and Golfsmith was good about it and refunded my money infull. So, save the $150 and play a couple rounds of golf on a nice course insted.
