Good wood shaft for slower swing speeds
Date:July 5, 2010
I put this shaft on a driver that has 9 degree of loft, but the original shaft had a high kick point giving a low trajectory. As I'm getting older and my swing speed is declining, I realize that I need a little more help from the equipment in getting a higher trajectory for more carry and distance. This UST Competition 65 Series wood shaft has a low kick point for a higher trajectory which will help golfers with slower swing speeds like me to get as much distance as possible. Big hitters and low handicappers may not benefit from this shaft, but it is a good choice for the rest of us.

Perfect!!

I've been looking for the correct shaft for my swing speed. I tried the UST Series 65 in aAflex, Hooked up to a Golfsmith Blackbird 11.5 @ 45". Finaly I can hit a driver.About 270 down the center, with a little draw. This shaft realy works for my swing speed.

Not what I expected
Date:March 23, 2009
This is a good quality shaft at a good price but defitely felt much stiffer than any other R-flex I have tried. It felt like a telephone pole, even though my swing speed was consistently 90-92 mph. Ball trajectory was pretty low for me.
Pros: Quality, Good Value
Cons: flex
