Best Hybrid shaft for perfect ball flight
Date:October 7, 2010
I have two of these in my 3+ & 4 hybrids (.370 tip) and they are flawless. Most days, I trust these two clubs as much or more than my putter, which is usually the only club I trust in my bag! I really attribute it to this shaft. The torque seems a bit high, especially for heavier hybrid heads but it really doesn't matter as the bend point & heavier weight (mine are both stiff) really make this shaft excel beyond its competitors. I've played the Aldila NV Hybrid which is generally a mid-flight type shaft but for me the ball ballooned a tad at times & it wasn't as heavy as the V2, which made for a weaker combination of attributes than this amazing shaft.
The ball flight is mainly mid and at least in my hybrids, I can really hit some lasers with this shaft. A few rounds ago, I had a drive that faded to a slice, landing in 3+" of rough on a downhill lie, leaving me about 230yds to the hole. I pulled out my 3+ hybrid and lazered a shot over 2 bunkers guarding the green, landing 15' from the cup on a par 5! It was the shot of my day on an otherwise forgetful round. It's moments like those where I know the equipment is helping compensate for my swing flaws and this shaft is a big part of that equation.
LONG LIVE UST!

Great shaft
Date:August 17, 2010
I installed this shaft in a Snake Eyes 31 degree hybrid. It is sweet. It is my new 150 yard club. Have just used it for 10 days, but have already had some great shots.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Durability

Long live the heavy shaft!
Date:July 21, 2010
I like the Proforce V2 series and have them on all my woods/hybrids...they have the proper weight indexing across my clubs going from 65 on the driver, 75 on the fairway, 85 on my CGB Max r7 and then 100+ on my TT Dynamic Gold shafted irons. Ultra light weight shafts make indexing clubweight more difficult especially if you're hitting steel on your irons. Also, graphite shafts are getting better every year I've heard so Pure-ing is becoming less and less of a benefit and at least in my experience, the lower the torque & higher the stiffness the less benefit Pure-ing provides.
