The YS-6+ wood shaft uses the highest grade of modulus graphite available on the market, resulting in increased distance, more responsive feel and dramatic improvements in accuracy.

Graphite Design's unique technologies — Material Stiffness Integration and GD Flex control — with weight classes to provide golfers of all skill levels with added distance and accuracy. MSI refers to the unique materials developed by Graphite Design that enhance the performance and feel of the shafts. GD Flex ensures the performance bend characteristics of each shaft throughout its length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Controlled This is an excellent shaft for average to above average swing speeds. Im a 8 to 10 handicapper, and my average driver distance is 275. I had this shaft in a 983k, and currently in a R5 dual with the neutral setting. Although the feel was slightly different because of head size and the 983k was a bore through design, the shaft felt virtually the same. This shaft responds well to a smoother tempo, but you can also take a good rip at it when you want. My biggest praise is the control. The medium flex at the tip provides an extra kick without feeling flimsy. Nice high launch with a substantial amount of role as well. Its the best of both worlds. January 28, 2007

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect shaft for my swing!! I was hitting a UST Proforce 65 and fading everything. Finally went and hit several shafts on a swing monitor. My trajectory and distance was all over the place using the stiff Aldila NV 65, Graffaloy ProLaunch, and Proforce V2. I hit the Graphite Design YS-6 stiff and it was like drawing a line repeteitvely over and over again. I have a ball speed of 155-160 and a carry distance of 265-275. I put the shaft with the new Snake Eyes XTI 10.5 degree driver head. Everything is down the middle and I couldn't be happier. Played 2 months now with this combo and still down the middle every time. Rated 5 out of 5 by re-Driver shaft I had my Titelist 905R re-shafted with the YS-6+. I had it Pured and regripped (no charge) at the same time. It's just what I needed. My height requires a 43 3/4 inch driver & Golfsmith fixed it all up wonderfully. I have to mail my clubs/heads into Austin from AK, but I wouldn't let anyone else work on them. Have sent in 5 woods for "work" in the last 5 yrs. Great service, great workmanship. Thnx July 14, 2009
