The YS-6+ wood shaft uses the highest grade of modulus graphite available on the market, resulting in increased distance, more responsive feel and dramatic improvements in accuracy.

Graphite Design's unique technologies — Material Stiffness Integration and GD Flex control — with weight classes to provide golfers of all skill levels with added distance and accuracy. MSI refers to the unique materials developed by Graphite Design that enhance the performance and feel of the shafts. GD Flex ensures the performance bend characteristics of each shaft throughout its length.

this is the second YS-6+ shaft I have fitted to my two drivers. The improvement over the stock shaft in my Ping G15 and Callaway FTiz are immense. The feel, shot dispersion and distance gains are quite noticeable. I use the regular flex shaft which is perfect for my swing speed which is quite moderate these days. Something to do with advancing old age I would suggest. My many years playing and studying golf has revealed to me two important mistakes many amateurs make with driver and flex choices. Too low of loft and too stiff of flex for their swing speed and golfing abilities.

HUGE difference between stiff and regular shaft. This shaft played like a senior shaft. Total waste of money.

Best decision I ever made was to get it Pured. The shaft is excellent, but purring it made it better. I am hitting the ball longer and straighter then ever.

Rejuvinated My 3-Wood

I bought this shaft after discussions with one of the Golfsmith staff. It has made my TaylorMade 3-wood a go to club. The stock shaft did not suit my swing at all and now I really feel the club. I am having consistent hits and straigther ball flight. I am now a believer that the right shaft makes the club work better.
