The UST Proforce AXIVCore Tour Green 60 Wood Shaft has an all-new, tour-proven design that integrates AXIV Technology , which is a true weave, 4-axis material, within the inner walls of the tip section only, which provides a flexurally stable, torsional responsive tip profile for lower ball flight, reduced spin and better shot-making control without sacrificing feel. This tip-balanced shaft's center of gravity is closer to the tip so players can better feel the position of the clubhead throughout the swing. The Green Series uses superior high modulus carbon fiber in the butt and mid section and is available in multiple weights and flexes to fit various swing profiles. Who is it for? The player seeking better feel and tighter shot dispersion in a lower launch, low spin high performance golf shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! They should rename this shaft the "Mean Green". Replaced the stock Motore regular shaft in my R9 SuperTri with a UST 9160R AXIVCore Tour Green 60. . The Motore ballooned on most drives and was inconsistent in direction. The UST AXIVCore Tour Green 60 has a very penetrating ball flight and is very predictably straight. I formerly used a UST V2 in my R7 SuperQuad, the AXIVCore Tour Green is a V2 on steroids. . Now that this shaft is on sale at Golfsmith, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. What a great value at $80. Can say that when I want to crank it , spin rate is not an issue and ball flight is really good. Very pleased with this shaft. June 16, 2010
