Excellent grip
Date:October 16, 2010
I purchased this Winn belly putter grip to put on my Oddessey putter after I lengthened the shaft. Feel of the grip is excellent and the length balances the putter nicely. I was having some problems with 5 to 8 foot putts. This belly putter with the Winn grip has raised my average of made putts to over 85%. I'm feeling very confident with my putting again.
Pros: Quality, Good Value, Durability

Also he got the product in a short time so golfsmith is as we have always experienced a quality company to do ecommerce with.

changed my mind
Date:March 21, 2009
I'm the guy who panned this grip last year. After many tries, I finally figured out the installation problem. The only solvent to use is ordinary paint thinner. Paint thinner is more slippery than other solvents and dries slower, allowing sufficient working time to install the grip. For years I have used 3M Adhesive Removerto install grips as it dries faster and smells better than thinner. However, the 3M is too effective and actually "scrubs off" the adhesive when installing both this grip and the 21" Winn model, with the result that the grip sticks halfway on. However, because the 21" model is a .620 core, I could get it on a .600 shaft using the 3M solvent. If you use paint thinner there is no need to heat the grip, which seems to be another technique that is used with some success. As an aside, the 3M Adhesive Remover is a great product to degrease and clean, install regular grips, remove labels and to just have in the shop.
