Rated 5 out of 5 by Straight and long. I am using this shaft on an R9 Super tri. The ball launches medium to high and long. Shaft feels stable and workable. It likes a controlled swing but does not punish a hard one. Looks are good. I highly recommend this shaft. I am 46 yo and hitting my drives 260-285... And straight, my misses are usually right and not by more than 3-5 yds into the rough. But that's just my lack of flexibility trying to get through the shot. April 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by AD YS QST 65 / Best Buy 1st let me say I've been building clubs for more than 20 years. I taught my sons the game when they were 12 years old and now, my youngest is 22. I have lots of clubs lying around from years of various shaft / head testing. One day, I pulled a 3 year old Titleist head out of the closet and shafted it with one of the AD YS QST shafts in tour x. My sons can drive to 300 yards with ease when conditions are good. My oldest loves his Nike with a white board I installed. My youngest used was trying everything I had to find "the one". I am 57 years old, in good shape an shoot in the high 70s when I get to play. A good drive for me now is 280. I took the YS QST out one day and hit it at the range. 280 plus came with the 2nd swing and my youngest was then telling me he wanted to try it. Granted, he is long but, sprays his shots due to mechanics. This shaft put him in the fairway 8 out of 10 shots and he was hitting way past 300. As a matter of fact, he was hitting them into a persons back yard on the back side of the range and gotten phone calls to the club house to complain. He has never done that before,,, even remotely close. I never see that club anymore.. The AD YS QST shaft is the finest shaft I've ever used and I've built clubs with shafts costing more than 3 times the cost. April 11, 2010
