A half-flex stiffer in the butt than the VS Proto, the Aldila DVS Wood Shaft is softer in the tip, giving extra kick and launch with a very firm, stable feel.

I would not hesitate to recommend this shaft to other golfers looking for consistent, controlled gain in distance. November 4, 2012

It is a fantastic shaft and is far better than the UST Proforce V2 and Fuju shafts I have owned in the past. MUCH more feel and distance staright down the middle and a bad shot turns into a slight fade. I highly recommend the DVS! July 29, 2010

With its softer tip section the shaft provides an extra kick to give you additional yards without having to “over power” the shaft. Rated 4 out of 5 by Aldila DVS Vey solid shaft. Launches the ball higher than VS Proto ByYou or NV but still achieves the good roll out at the end. Feels solid but does not have the boardy feel of other shafts on the market today. I got an additional 15 yards of carry after switching. Easy to to flight lower, if desired. The cost is a bit excessive which made me give it a 4 vs. 5 star rating. May 6, 2008
