I found this product NOT to be very helpful in removing the stubborn spikes that we all get when they are worn down. It did however, make installing the new spikes a breeze. My advise is to spend a little extra and get a ratcheting wrench with detatchable heads. the two prongs just dont allow enough grip to remove old spikes. I was fighting with a couple spikes for what seemed like forever.
