Golfsmith Manual Grip Tape Remover:

For use with graphite or steel, this tape scraper won't damage shafts thanks to the special radiused machined edge on the cutting blade that lifts off tape without gouging. NOTE: the blade will scratch the polyurethane coating of graphite shafts, which is OK, but it will not gouge the surface.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor design The original design of this tool had the tip more chisel like to allow the removal of the grip tape easier. The new model has done away with this effective design and I believe that this makes this tool ineffective. The long handle design gives some addition leverage, but the tip is too dull. May 21, 2013
