Golfsmith Sand Stone Cylinder Bit:

This sandstone texture is perfect for roughening the inside hosel wall of clubheads for better 'bite' of the epoxy bond between clubhead and shaft. Especially useful with new clubheads which can have a slick finish with small metal burrs. Head diameter of .281" works well in virtually any iron or metal wood head hosel.

The sandstone is good for removing rust residue that exists in some iron clubheads, and it works fine for removing epoxy left after removing a shaft from the hozel.

I have used this bit on a number of heads and it roughs them up well and quickly. I hope it does not wear out quickly.
