By combining proprietary NSGS8655V base shaft material with specialized heat treatment processes, Nippon Shaft has created a shaft that delivers feel, explosive power and superior ballistics.

Great shafts

I was a little reluctant to purchase these shafts because I heard they were soft tipped. However, these hsafts have not disappointed me. The shafts are consistent in their feel and construction is second to none. I'm also the owner of forged irons with with KBS shafts in them. My beef with the KBS people is that their shafts lack quality control. The steps in the shafts are not uniform with the other shafts in the set. Their shafts often are mis aligned. This does not appear to be the case with Nippon shafts. Their quality is outstanding.
I have a set of these shafts in Mizuno Mp-57's. They are magnificent and have tremendous feel. I have now ordered the Nippon wedge shafts.
Good for you Nippon.
