NOT 2 inch tape

Even though it says 2 inches wide in the description, know that this is indeed only 48mm wide. It does not go all the way around the butt and you are left with a gap. On the plus side, the quality of this tape is excellent. I just wish it was wider.

Get This First!

I have used the thinner grip tape for years, but after my latest round of clubmaking, and reading the reviews for the 2" product decided to switch.
This is so much easier to use, it is indescribable.
The time and effort saved is worth 3 times as much in cost.

Great product

I have been using the 2 inch grip tape for 10 years.
It is easier to use than the 3/4 inch tape. It cuts
gripping time by at least 1/3.

Double sided tape

I've been using Golfsmith's double sided tape for years. It's always been a reliable product. I like the 2 inch size as I find it easier to lay a single piece around the grip and overlap it a bit. Tried the thinner type which requires a spiral wrap--can be time consuming. Also tried the double sided tape that is activated by water. Found that a very poor substitute for the paint thinner activator style.
