Golfsmith 1" x 75" Lead Tape:

A versatile lead tape from Golfsmith with a full 1" width that allows for faster and easier application for swingweighting, especially in putter cavities and cavity back irons. Cuts easily with tin snips or scissors and can be split down the middle for more precise application needs. Clear acrylic adhesive sticks instantly and becomes stronger over time, but can be removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FeeltheGolf Actual weight of this Lead Tape.... So I got a wild hair and wanted to back weight my clubs. I decided to do all my clubs, but using those new fangled weighted grips that costs a min of $15 a piece, wouldn't be costs effective. So I decided to use lead tape and re-grip all my clubs with new grips. This was a double bonus. One it added weight where I wanted and increase the width of my grips over standard and less than midsize. A standard grips about 50grams. I wanted my clubs back weighted, including grips, to weight 90grams or there a bouts. So this worked for me, but here are the specs that aren't included online. A roll of 1" x 75" weights about 170grams. That is about 2.3 per inch. I used 10" strips and that weighted 23grams. blah blah With this adjustment, I feel more control, and that's all this game is - feel. Hope this helps. Good golfing!!! March 1, 2013

Easy to cut to size. Easy to apply. Stays in place unless you want to remove it. It could only be better if it applied itself. October 16, 2010

If you tend to hit some slices, put some tape on the heel of the club and you can fix that in a jiffy -- without messing with your swing mechanics. Too much hook? Put it on the toe. It puts the fun back in golf. The tape is thick, so you don't need to use a whole lot of it to make a difference. June 23, 2010
