I've used mineral spirits and lighter fluid but the golfsmith grip solvent is the best. The nozzle shape fits into the grip opening and eliminates the need for syringes. Slightly more smell than odorless spirits but far less than regular mineral spirits or lighter fluid. Very glad I took a chance with this product, wish I tried it sooner.

Best grip solvent

I recently bought this solvent for the first time. This stuff is great and makes sliding the grips on a breeze. I used this solvent to install Winn grips on a set of clubs. Some of the Winn grip reviews stated that the grips are difficult to install and that the grip would lock up mid way. I found that this solvent made installing the Winn grips very easy and I didn't have to use much fluid to get the job done. It was probably the fastest that I've ever changed grips and I credit Golfsmith's solvent!
