Golfsmith Brass Shaft Shims (12-pack):

Universal Brass Shaft Shims are the fast and easy way to fit conventional shaft tips into clubheads with oversized inside hosel diameters. One size fits all shaft tips due the shims' collapsible side walls design. Maximizes bonding by allowing epoxy to seep past and adhere to both the shaft and hosel wall as well as the shim. Each .15 gauge brass shim weighs just 0.75 grams, resulting in virtually no effect on swingweight, and readily converts conventional shaft tips to fit into most oversize hosel bores, such as:

.370" tip adapts to fit .390" to .410" hosels
.335" tip adapts to fit .350" to .370" hosels
.355" tip adapts to fit .370" to .390" hosels

Rated 5 out of 5 by LicketySplit Handy shims/Must have for clubmakers Nice to have around in case you have a smaller shaft that wont fit properly into iron head or wood head. Some are .335 or 350 for woods and irons 355 or 370. These work perfectly for making shaft mate to club heads. Make sure end of shaft is clean and burred to accept glue and hostel on irons and woods are clean and burred as well. I use a dremel with a tip that will fit in to and sand out previous glue or shards of shaft left from removal. You may need to sand or grind the bottom of shim to fit in some cases but never very much. Highly recommended. September 24, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by pianoman Just the ticket. I used these shims to install Nippon .355 taper tip shafts into a set of Miura .37 iron heads. They worked great. Suggest you pre-assemble, as the shims are very snug when first installed. The process can be a little messy and requires some patience, but the results were excellent. September 12, 2012
