Golfsmith Brass Shaft Shims (12-pack):

Universal Brass Shaft Shims are the fast and easy way to fit conventional shaft tips into clubheads with oversized inside hosel diameters. One size fits all shaft tips due the shims' collapsible side walls design. Maximizes bonding by allowing epoxy to seep past and adhere to both the shaft and hosel wall as well as the shim. Each .15 gauge brass shim weighs just 0.75 grams, resulting in virtually no effect on swingweight, and readily converts conventional shaft tips to fit into most oversize hosel bores, such as:

  • .370" tip adapts to fit .390" to .410" hosels
  • .335" tip adapts to fit .350" to .370" hosels
  • .355" tip adapts to fit .370" to .390" hosels

WORKS PERFECTLY

I used these shaft shims to reshaft some old RAM Tour Grind heads, The heads were .370 bore and the shafts were .355 taper tip. The shafts ended up fitting like a glove. The perfect solution for my scenario.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability

Suprised not Junk!

I would suggest doing a dry fit in every club first, remove shim with needle nose. The dry fit shapes the shim, was much much harder to fit using epoxy on first fit. (hydrolock?) You'll understand when you see the shape.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use

Works fine

I used this shim for a putter reshaft. The hosel size was .370, the shaft was .335, and I did not want to resort to trimming the tip of the shaft to fit the hosel. The shim was initially a bit too large and I cut off three of the legs. It worked. I also clipped the ends of the three remaining legs to match the length of the hosel depth. The brass shims did not change the feel of the clubhead. Recommend for those large hosels.
Pros: Quality, Good Value, Durability

Great Shims
Date:October 26, 2010
These shims are perfect for loading a smaller diameter shaft into a oversized hosel. ie: .335 shaft into a .350 hosel. They work great and are simple to use.
