Great clubs

I just received these clubs today.
The heads are in very good condition with only a few minor blemishes on the faces and soles as to be expected, nothing more then 1-2 rounds it seems.

The shafts are brand new, as are the Grips. The overall club weight seems much lighter then i am used to.

My only concern is, I play "Tour" clubs for the narrow sole, thin top line, less distracting backing and smaller head size. Yet, these clubs came with Bright Red grips, very distracting and doesn't fit the club style at all.

So now i have to re-grip the whole set to a regular black which will probably cost me the same as buying this set brand new instead.

Worthy Purchase - Great Service

The clubs were in good condition for 2 year old used clubs. Only problem was the set was to come with Project X 6.0 shafts. The 9 iron came with a Rifle 5.0 flighted shaft. Golfsmith has always had great customer service and when I called and told them about this, they immediately ordered a new Project X 6.0 shaft for the 9 iron, a new grip and ferrules. I told them if they provide the shaft I would change it out and they did just that. I have received the grip and ferrules and the shaft is to be shipped this week.

X 20 Tour Irons

Excellent club. When I purchased these clubs I added 10 yards on each iron shot. They are forgiving yet very workable and accurate. The stock shaft is the Project X shaft. Great club!

WOW

I am so impressed with these irons and this is from only a 2 day experience with them! I easily added 10 yards from my previous irons. The irons easily cut through the ground giving myself a better adantage of gaining more G.I.R.'s and i have much more confidence. After all, golf is 90% mental and 10% physical!
