Cleveland Mashie Hybrid with Graphite Shaft

The Cleveland Mashie Hybrid with Graphite Shaft was created to bring utility back to the hybrid category. Hybrids were initially introduced to replace long irons, the point being to hit the ball long and straight from any type of lie. The mashie is specifically designed to do just this. The sole features two gliderails and a center keel, which reduce turf drag and stabilize the club through impact. This makes the Mashie the most versatile utility Cleveland Golf has ever produced. And considering that the mashie can and will be hit from the most ugly lies, Cleveland Golf has finished this utility club with a classic, bulletproof retro-raw finish. Branded with a throw-back name, the Mashie's technology and performance isn't traditional at all. Through collaborations with Lamkin grips and Miyazaki Shafts, engineers at Cleveland Golf have removed 30 grams of weight from the club. Just as it does with drivers and fairways, the removal of weight increases clubhead speed, producing more ball speed and more distance. The mashie is longer from any lie.

Additional Features:

  • Grip: Lamkin 36g Superlite
  • Shaft: Miyazaki C. Kua

Thank you Cleveland

My search for Hybrids are over. I've tried Nike, Ping, Cobra, and Taylormade. At least for me nothing compares to the Mashie. This club is so easy to hit, even someone with my swing can address this club with confidence. And the price was a steal during the Mashie Mania. Im considering buying the M1 to replace my G15 Fairway wood.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Great Hybrid
Date:January 2, 2012
I recently purchased two Cleveland Mashie's. The first was a 15.5 degree Tour Model, the second a 23 degree hybrid. I used the 15.5 degree Mashie as an alternate club for tee shots. The club performs extremely well off of the tee, easy to hit and maneuver and with exceptional distance (235-255). The 23 degree club is a non tour club and does appear to have a closed face. Yet, I did not have any issues with turning the ball over left. These are great clubs, at a great price, very good purchase.

Best Hybrid Ever

Bought the M1 and M2 during Mashie Mania and I could not be happier with this purchase. I have trouble hitting a 3-Wood off the deck and the M1 has officially knocked the 3W out of my bag. Stupid easy to hit off the turf and is a bomb off the tee. M2 is great as well, off the turf / cuts through the rough ... you name it, this club does it. Im a beginner and have been playing for about a year and these clubs by far are my go to clubs. Good job Cleveland.

Great Club / Great Price
Date:August 6, 2011
This club is a great addition to my bag. The rail system on the bottm of the club head is very effective at allowing the club to glide through any situation. With the addition of the M1 and M2 I no longer dread those 200+ yard iron shots.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability
