Cobra S2 Iron Set 4-GW with Graphite Shafts

A multi-material design with a modified polymer topline and expanded lower urethane sole insert lets the Cobra S2 Irons position weight lower and further back, while improving vibration dampening on off-center hits. An improved appearance that will appeal to more players includes the heel and toe inserts hidden away from view, a hidden back flange, shorter blade length, straighter leading edge and a cleaner scoreline pattern. An updated mid-width sole design with trailing edge groove provides the benefits of a wide sole while keeping the leading edge low. Strong lofts and longer lengths combine for increased distance.

Excellent Clubs

My first set of clubs were very cheap just to get me in the swing of things. After about a month I bought these clubs and have really enjoyed them. I have been only golfing for about 8 weeks and really work off feel more than technique. I will say I have hit some very nice balls with these clubs and getting much better. They are very forgiving and have a nice feel when you connect just right with the club. I am very happy that I purchased these clubs.

NOT OVERLY WILD ABOUT THIS SET!

I purchased these several months ago so have had an adequate time to truly test them. If you like just a little offset rather than a large offset you will like this feature. They come with "V" grooves rather than "square" grooves so if you are used to the big bite taken by the square grooves you will be disappointed. Also, because of the "V" grooves they are more difficult to play out of the rough, especially if it is wet!!!

Overall I would have to say that I am rather disappointed with these irons.

Played then for 1 month and love them. Solid feel with appropriate forgiveness. Feel confident with every shot, even on miss hits. Have added 10 yards to my iron shots. Better than Burners at 75% the price. Look out Camillo, I'm coming for you.

Cobra Keeps Improving My Game

Purchased the S2's graphite stiff and have used for one month. These clubs are light years ahead of my former Cobra CXI's and have advanced my game significantly. These clubs generate superior distance and accuracy thru the bag and will elevate confidence immediately. Provide visually impressive lines over the ball and are relatively easy to swing. Playing currently to a 15 handicap and find that I finally have clubs that suit my game and ability level. Moreover, Cobra has set a price point that yields great value for a set of this quality.
