Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by New age step shaft!!! This shaft has the perfect combination of Feel, control and distance. No better step shaft on the market! September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by KBS Tours in MP32 I have now played three rounds with the shafts and had some quality range time. It took a bit of tinkering and research but I got the swing weight where I wanted it and these shafts became everything they should be. A nice flight, launches high and stays in the air forever. Very stable through impact and the ball feels like its coming of the face hot. I found that I needed to increase my swing weight by about two points per club. Before that I lost head feel. After, best shafts I've hit. I've tried PX, S400, X100, Blackgold, Nippon 1050. The KBS are hands down the best. May 11, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shafts These shafts are great, I purchased the KBS Tour Taper Stiff Flex for my Mizuno MP67 irons. They are very firm and responsive, especially when attacking the ball (when swinging harder). If ordering these shafts make sure to order different lengths for each iron (unlike regular shafts, tapered-tipped shafts are designated a specific length/iron) this means you cannot simply cut more off the butt of the shaft to change which iron it corresponds to. The manufacturer will let you know which iron you are receiving. June 29, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great iron shaft BUT... These shafts are great. They have a great clicky feel to them and a slightly lower more penetrating trajectory. But there is a trick to them, as they are very sensitive to shaft length due to the counter balancing of the shaft, the clubhead will feel lighter when you swing it. Expect your swingweight to be a couple of points lighter, this can be a disadvantage if you are mounting anything less than a mid sized iron head. If you don't want to deal with the counterbalance issue with these shafts a good alternative are TT Black Golds. Black golds have a slightly softer feel and have a slightly higher mid trajectory.
