KBS Black Nickel Wedge Shaft Taper Tip:

The KBS Black Nickel Wedge Shaft Taper Tip has MOI analysis, which improves stability and feel, while the unique KBS design proportionately reduces shaft mass and step radius for greater performance on every shot. The beautiful black nickel finish reduces glare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pricey Classy looking wedge shaft I just installed these shafts in my REG588 wedge set (satin finish). They look absolutely great when paired with Lamkin 3GEN Wedge grips. they perform really well also. I contact KBS prior to installing them because i had heard a lot of people complaining that the Black Nickel finish peeled after some time. KBS told me to make sure that i prepared the tip correctly by removing ALL finish at the lower 1-1.5" tip of the shaft (exposing the bare metal to the epoxy). I prepared my tips as recommended, so now i hope that their appearance holds up. October 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Black Nickel Wedge Shafts - Smooth The stability of steel and the smooth feel at impact of graphite - super mix. Also very good looking shafts. October 19, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW I recently put these shafts in my Titleist Spin Milled wedges (52, 56, 60) and have noticed a dramatic improvement in shot feel and control. I have even noticed an increase in distance as well. Price may scare some people away from these shafts but let me tell you that they are worth every penny. September 6, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing shaft The price of this shaft made me think twice about getting them. Often a new product comes along and we wonder what the fuss is all about. I placed two of these shafts in a Vokey 54 and 58 degree wedges. I have to say these shafts are an improvement over the DG s400 shafts. They have to be the smoothest shaft known and have provided amazing control around the greens. Believe it or not they have shaved strokes off my score to where I now shoot in the mid 70's and less.
