great investment, confidence builder

Two years ago, I replaced my iron set with Lynx brand and kept my old driver. This year I started slicing with my driver and lost my confidence in this club. Finally decided after weeks of frustration to visit GolfSmith in Duluth, GA and look at the Lynx drivers. After trying out a XMD 10.5 Regular Flex Driver in the driving range, I purchased the club thinking "I got nothing to lose". Was I ever wrong; the first chance at our golf league the following week, I nailed the first three tee shots STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW, no fade no slice. That was a nice confidence builder, but I thought don't hold my breathe. The following three weeks of league the same results- BAMM- STRAIGHT, no fade no slice. This was such an improvement that my team mate and league opponents all commented and asked what did I change. I smiled like a kid on Christmas morning, showed off my new XMD Driver, and we discussed how much I had straightened out my driver shots and determined I had increased my distance by 20-30 yards.

Great Confidence Builder

I'm just getting seriously into golf. I have been to driving ranges several times over the years, but have only been on a course a few times, with junk, hand-me-down clubs. I decided to try a few different clubs last year at my local Golfsmith. After trying several drivers, this driver handled the best for me. With a few pointers over the years from seasoned golfers and some swing adjustment my first time out, after 4 drives, I was out-driving guys who have been playing for years who spent upwards of $300 for their drivers, and best of all, most of the drives were straight up the fairway.

I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 due to the fact that I am new to the game and can't possibly give an "expert" review

Works for me

I went to the store intent on buying an FTiQ but after trying that and several other makes I found the Lynx worked the best for me both for distance and straightness (as measured by the ball flight machine).
The club has a fairly lighweight feel but also feels very stable. The view looking down at the club head inspires quite a bit of confidence as well. I'm glad I bought it and the price was lower than the rest of the clubs I tried out and I have hit some really good drives with it as well.
